We have a great honour to announce our Special Guest Star's safe arrival in Finland.
Hector aka Becscott Slim Jim With Ipanema JW will have a little holiday with us. When the time is right he will hopefully have a romantic encounter with our Ida (Int Ch Whiptails Milk'n Honey). It's interesting to see what the future brings!

18.10.2011 Happy thoughts for today

Both Fiona and Rudolf have their eyes open. Rudolf has developed a little bit faster but he is also little bit older than Fiona since he was born first ;-)
It's so amazing how they explore the new world, try to run and jump and play. And what is most touching, Rudolf is really eager to wag his tail. This morning when we woke up, he wagged his tail and fell over on his back with joy and happiness :-)

17.10.2011 Food and other stuff from internet

Or to be more precise, from Germany. We have usually ordered things from Finnish web shops but decided to try this shop. There has been some discussion, both good and bad about Zooplus. But we decided to try it ourselves and see how everything's going to work.

Our Zooplus order was so big that it was delivered as two separate (and heavy) parcels. The delivery time was a little bit over one week which was totally fine. Unfortunately the first box was broken during the travel so we lost some of the cat food. Despite that we find Zooplus worth using also next time :-)

15.10.2011 Helmi's autumn holiday in Saukkola

We had a pleasure to have Helmi, Whiptails Golden Gem living with us for one week while her owners were in Italy. At first Helmi was a bit shy but that went over... As you can see on the photos, there was quite a lot of action on Friday evening.

14.10.2011 Geena's 2 weeks old puppies

Geena’s puppies are already 2 weeks old. This time has gone really fast! Geena is such a good Mom (like all her relatives are) so virtually we have just been able to watch and enjoy them without having much extra work. The puppies have eaten well, they have gained weight nicely, they have even begun to play a bit – so far so good!

Even granny Taikku got the permission to take care of the puppies a couple of times. She was on seventh heaven when she was allowed to clean the babies a bit (even though they were already clean, but that’s not the main point) .

8.10.2011 Boys at Lure Coursing

Hekku, Whiptails Golden Supreme participated in unofficial Lure Coursing competition
arranged by LVKH in Ylistaro. He was best puppy, earning unofficial title of LVKH's lure
coursing puppy 2011.
